Senior Spotlight: Dakota Kattenberg
Launch the media gallery 1 playerThis week's senior spotlight is Dakota Kattenberg. She was born on February 20, 2006, at Smith Center Memorial Hospital. She is the daughter of David and Denyse Kattenberg. She has a brother, Dominick. Dakota enjoys reading and hanging out with her family and friends in her free time. She is involved in many extracurricular activities such as basketball, volleyball, track, FCCLA, NHS, STUCO, and being a class officer. Someone who inspires Dakota is her mom. "She strives to make everyone else around her happy - does everything she can for our community and she is just a good person to look up to." Dakota's favorite high school memory is winning state volleyball her sophomore year. After high school, she plans on getting her major in education to become an elementary teacher. She is unsure of where she wants to go to college. In 10-20 years, Dakota sees herself, "being a teacher with a family."
