Senior Spotlight: Kaden Weltmer
Launch the media gallery 1 playerThis week's senior spotlight is Kaden Weltmer. He was born on May 2, 2006, at Smith County Memorial Hospital. Kaden is the son of Philip and Jessica Weltmer. He has 2 siblings, Korey and Kaylee. In Kaden's free time, he works on the family farm. While in high school, he has been involved in football, basketball, FFA, and NHS. Someone who inspires Kaden is his dad. "Being able to work with my dad on the farm has given me the opportunity to learn about farming, and I want to be able to grow my farming operation like he did." He plans to attend Kansas State University where he will major in Animal Science and Agronomy. "After I graduate from K-State, I plan to return to my family's farm." In 10-20 years Kaden sees himself coming back to the family farm where he will own some land and cattle.
