Smith Center FCCLA was well represented at the District B Virtual State Leadership event today at the Hilton Hotel in Hays. Twenty four members attended.
The chapter received State Recognition for being an Active Chapter, was runner up for the Rush Week award and also received Gold for State Community Service Project Participation.
The following members participated in State Star events:
Jaci Charbonneau in Job Interview receiving a silver.
Abi Schlatter and Oona Long received a gold in Chapter Service Project Display and advance to Nationals.
Kaley Wagner and Bella Schmidt received a Gold in Professional Presentation and advance to Nationals.
Tinley Rentschler and Camryn Hutchinson received a Gold in National Programs in Action, Community Service and advance to Nationals.
Maggie Peterson received a silver in Entrepreneurship and advance to Nationals.
Jaci Charbonneau was recognized as completing her year as the State VP of Individual Programs.
Kaley Wagner helped lead the event as the 2021-2022 District B VP of Membership
Cauy Haresnape and Abigail Schlatter were sworn in as new members of the Families First Peer Education Team
Jaci Charbonneau and Kandis Frydendall were awarded State FCCLA scholarships
So blessed to have the opportunity to work with all of these amazing young adults!
